We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with a proven track record of designing Data centric solutions to assist organisations in producing high quality Data Analytics.

The Data Solutions team are responsible for all aspects of Data - from technical to business including Data quality, ETL, data mining, Data analysis and Dashboarding / Business Intelligence Reporting.

This project is a greenfield project within a leading international financial services organisation. Your role will be to act as the Lead Data Architect on the project. Areas will include : design a new DataWarehouse, create new Data models and work with the Development team in a combined effort to create Data Solutions that will allow the Business to attain high-value analytics from Big Data sources.

You will be liaising with Database Architects, Developers, Data Specialists and key business stakeholders with a particular focus on enterprise data architecture.

The core focus of the role is as a Senior Data Architect. You may become involved in other areas, such as:

* Work with the business and senior project stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide effective solutions
* Data policy definition & developing standards for data collection, ETL, data management and adherence to data policy
* Data model definition and implementation. Creating & analysing data models.
* Assessment of current data infrastructure and management & proposed future direction

Expertise Required:

* You must have worked as a Data Architect in enterprise organisation for a number of years, ideally within the Financial Services or Banking sectors.
* Experience of working with both legacy systems, Big Data, Datawarehouses and technologies such as Hadoop, Splunk, Spark and related technologies is ideal.
* You should have a track record of Architecting, designing & delivering Data solutions working with enterprise database such as SQL server, Teradata or Oracle.

Contract rate: €550-650 / day

Contract duration: 6 months +
