We are looking for an DevOps Engineer for a growing ecommerce organisation based in North Dublin.
You will join a state-of-the-art information Operations team and is looking for a strong hands-on DevOps Engineer. You will be a key member of the Operations and Engineering team and will be responsible for a wide range of projects.
The role requires you to be a hands-on self-starter with extraordinary technical skills. You will work with new technology and implement solutions on customer sites.
The environment:
Our team largely uses and our infrastructure is built on Microsoft Windows and we have cloud-based servers using Microsoft Azure as the development platform sits on Windows.
Senior DevOps Engineer Skills & Experience
- Experience in Build and Release engineering, DevOps scripting, and automation
- Hands-on experience working with build scripts and automation tools such as chef/puppet/arm/powershell/docker
- Experience with Microsoft Server Technologies (Windows Server, IIS, Exchange, PowerShell scripting)
- Team player with demonstrated collaboration skills to work with IT/Lab and engineering scrum teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively work with distributed engineering teams using Agile development methodologies
- Application Lifecycle Management
- Deployment of MS SQL Server 2008 - 2016
- Strong programming experience
