Front End Developer (Permanent)
My client is seeking an enthusiastic individual who thrives working as part of a team and equally a self-starter: you should be confident in producing top tier interfaces and be well versed in jQuery, Angular, CSS, HTML5 and Javascript. Working with the UI and UX interface in balance with your back-end counterparts will be regular occurrence, this role is graphical flare meets technical sharpness- the position is geared to be immersive.
Your responsibilities will include-
* Working with marketing and design teams to greenlight feasibility of concepts, this includes creating branding, layouts and prototypes, along with coordinating with programmers in implementing engaging, exciting interfaces.
* Collaborating with stakeholders as well as your team to ensure high quality, reliable deliveries, as well as constantly searching for ways to improve my client's website covering optimisation opportunities and scalability.
* Taking responsibility for liasing with back-end developers, as well as confirming workable standards of UI/UX designs.
Requirements:
* Solid graphic optimisation, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript skills.
* Understanding of jQuery and Angular, client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
* Experience designing/developing for mobile, as well as online advertising.
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
* Knowledge of PHP and MySQL is advantageous.
* Understanding on SEO practices, coding techniques and trends, as well as LESS and SASS CSS pre-processing platforms.
* Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
* Deep understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues that may occur along with ways to work around them.
* Experience using versioning tools, particularly GIT.
* Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline.
