Introduction: Our client is looking for a Technical Project Manager to drive projects within their Product, Engineering and Operations (PEO) group. This is a new role which will be central to the delivery of Client's strategic roadmap. Reporting directly to the VP of PEO and working across Client teams, the Technical Project Manager will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of strategically critical projects, from product delivery to game-changing infrastructure uplifts
Main Responsibilities:
* Need to manage and maintain a holistic cross-functional view of projects across Product, Engineering and Operations.
* Need to facilitate effective delivery prioritization & planning sessions.
* Have to develop project plans and communicate them to stakeholders.
* Must engage in resourcing and prioritization conflict resolution.
* Priority projects are should be delivered on-time and within scope.
* Need to support on-call rota planning & reporting.
* Have to perform risk management to minimize project risks and communicate risk assessment with key stakeholders
* Have to maintain a view of the PEO organisation's P&L and performance.
* Have to report directly to the VP of Product, Engineering and Operations (PEO).
* Interact with Key stakeholders: VP of PEO; Product, Engineering & Operations leaders; and have to involve in Customer Success
Skills:
* 3-5 years' experience in software and technology project management, with a proven track record of high quality & on-time delivery.
* Exposure to or training in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
* Must have experience with JIRA and project management tools.
* Project management certification is needed
Soft skills:
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Outstanding relationship building and stakeholder management.
* Ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and be the interface between the business and the Product/Development team.
* Ability to drive a structured and methodical approach within the team.
* Must be Energetic and ambitious.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
