Senior IT Support Analyst

(Long Term Day Rate Contract, based in Dublin 4)

The IT Senior Analyst will be responsible for identifying, designing, building, and operating information technology solutions for our client's office in Dublin, Ireland. The position will be customer/end user focused and expected to build relationships with internal business customers, service providers, and internal colleagues.

The role will function as part of the broader IT team, and whose role is defined as:

* Foremost, IT Operations. Manage the overall health and performance of all IT components of the site. This includes desktop computers, local IT infrastructure, applications, and any required Computer System Validation work.
* Partner with colleagues on strategic projects and deliverables
* Understand the different business areas, functions and their strategic imperatives. Proactively bring forward technology solutions that drive the business forward (i.e. cost savings opportunities, improved cycle times, increase quality, etc.)
* As part of an IT Team, be the point person in Dublin for all enterprise wide IT strategic imperatives (example: upgrade to latest MS Office suite)

The Analyst is expected to work collaboratively across IT and business areas, and provide results that benefit individual client groups while also fitting in their IT standards.

Education & Experience

Knowledge

* Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience and certifications required for the job
* Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science
* Minimum 5+ years in combined technology manufacturing and or lab systems experience

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

* Proficiency in a body of information required for the job. g. knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/GCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.
* Ideally Experience working in GxP sites
* Experience with Computer Systems Validation (CSV)
* Strong experience in foundational IT skills; networking, desktop configuration, web technologies, and understanding SDLC
* Experience with performing Vendor management
* Experienced in doing application management and support
* Understanding of programming, prior developer work is a benefit, but not necessarily required

Physical Requirements

* Ability to work in an office environment.
* Position is an office based role.
