Software QA Automation Test Engineer
An exciting permanent position for an Automation QA Test Engineer to work with a leading betting and trading solutions company based in Cork.
The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years' experience as a software tester, and working knowledge of functional testing of high transaction, low latency systems and Micro-Service Architecture.
This is a senior position within the team and will involve lots of innovation and the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology.

What will a general day involve?
* Writing and executing automation tests.
* Produce automation suites.
* Organise test cycles and ensure test quality.
* Oversee test activities within the scrum team.
* Work with technical Leads/Architects to ensure resolution of defects.
* Provide buddying and guidance to new hires.
* Create and execute manual test cases.
* Generate test progress status and reports.
How can I stand out from the crowd?
* At least 3-4 years' experience as a software tester.
* Working knowledge of functional testing of high transaction, low latency systems.
* An understanding of Micro-Service Architecture and of various database technologies.
* Familiar with testing Webservices.
* Degree educated in a related field.
* Experience with UNIX and Python OR Perl (or similar).
* A background in an Agile development framework / Scrum.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
