Systems Engineer - Galway (Contract)

Contract: 6 Months

My client, a large technology solutions company, are currently offering you, a talented systems engineer the opportunity to join their team for their next project.

Qualifications & Experience

* Good degree an IT related role or strong systems engineering experience
* Minimum 2 years experience as a systems engineer and also good experience with systems verifications
* Strong scripting skills (Python, PHP or C++)
* Strong configuration management
* Strong with Linux and Windows
* Strong with AWS and Cloud based technologies

What you will do:

* Take responsibility for individual design or verification tasks
* Responsible for design and development tasks requiring accuracy, creativity and initiative.
* Considers cost at all times throughout the project and aim to implement cost effective practices
* Produce specifications, reports and proposals.
* Manage security of information as defined in the company security manual.
