IT Job – Salesforce Development Lead/Architect – €600.00 per day - 6 month contract – Dublin Central
Our client are currently recruiting a Lead Salesforce Software Engineer / Architect as key part of a global development team within a financial services environment. The team will be responsible for the delivery of capabilities and new features, engineering common and reusable components to help divisional adoption of the Salesforce platform.
The Lead Software Development Engineer will be an Experienced Salesforce Solution Architect / Developer that designs and develops application frameworks, applies them in response to business problems and completes development activities as part of the Salesforce development team. You will responsible for understanding the current architecture and providing long-term direction for technical strategy as part of the architecture team and a lead role a team of developers to support these initiatives.
The Role:
• Application Design & Architecture: leverage reusable frameworks, shared services and open source libraries to satisfy business requirements. Minimising the development effort, maintenance and time to market and maximising reliability.
• Application Development: writes application code and configuration to meet the technical solution.
• Participate in end-to-end in the product life cycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and implementation
• Participate in peer discussions on architecture and overall direction of the Salesforce program
• Work with team members to design solutions that are supported by the architecture of the existing systems
• Designs applications using frameworks and available components to meet the business requirements and documentation of the design.
• Conducts design reviews and identifies opportunities to re-use components contributes to the definition of development standards
• Provides Level 3 support for technical components and contribute to problem and root cause analysis.
• Leads development of source code, including descriptions, in line with detailed requirements
The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following:
• Significant experience with development technologies, 3 years+ experience in a lead developer role
• Salesforce development experience, ideally CRM system experience (inc. Client data/ multinational)
• Enterprise application integration (EAI) solutions for distributed enterprise applications
• Appreciation of service design adhering to Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) concepts & knowledge of open source Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) frameworks Message Oriented Middleware (MOM)
• Data Modelling and Data mapping expertise
Ideal Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language
• Experience in Salesforce.com applications development, configuration and implementation.
• Experience using Apex Classes / Controllers, Apex Triggers, SOQL, SOSL, Visual Force Page/Components (Lightening a plus)
• Experience with Salesforce Integration using Salesforce APIs and Middleware.
• HTML5 development including frameworks such as, AngularJS, Struts and GWT
• JavaScript, JQuery and CSS
• Enterprise Integration Solutions (Apache Camel, Tibco ESB, Mule or Informatica )
• Familiar with DevOps tools such as, Eclipse, Git, GitHub, BitBucket, Sonar, Jira, Jama, Confluence, Crucible, Jenkins and TeamCity
