My client is currently seeking to fulfil a Lead Cloud Operations Infrastructure Engineer position on a permanent basis. The role is accompanied by an excellent salary and an equally great benefits package. My client is a global software company providing technology solutions to the insurance industry.

The ideal candidate would hold experience in a number of the following areas:
• Strong experience working with AWS
• 4/5 years' experience providing system support in a technical environment working with customers, with an emphasis on system performance and stability - Site Reliability Engineering.
• Demonstrable experience working in a production environment
• DevOps oriented experience
• Networking knowledge

The typical responsibilities of the candidate fulfilling the role would be:
• Oversee the company’s customer facing applications, servers and network within their production environment
• Supervise the environments evading incidents by utilising monitoring tools and alerts
• Efficient cost management of the AWS infrastructure
• Capacity and demand management for the environments
