IT Security Analyst - Dublin

IT & Networks provider are seeking an IT Security Analyst to join their expanding team in Dublin.
You will be primarily responsible for the monitoring of IT security projects that will include vulnerability assessments, IPS/IDS, audits, compliance, security incident management.

You will have the chance to put your knowledge to good use and this particular company encourages you to constantly update your knowledge with further education.

Experience of the IT Security Analyst:

* Minimum 5 years experience in an IT environment with an emphasis on IT security
* Bachelor degree in computer science or similar
* Experience with network technologies and firewalls
* IPS/IDS, vulnerability assessments, malware protection, security monitoring
* Knowledge of security standards and rules around compliance
* Understanding of Unix, Linux, Windows.
* Professional security or network accreditation seen as a plus
