Project Manager Global Engineering Cork

Immediate requirement for a Project Manager to join a global engineering company in Cork, the organisation manufacture equipment for the medical sector around the world and have a large R&D facility.

As a Project Manager you will be working with engineers (Manufacturing, R&D, Quality) to lead various projects across various disciplines such as machining, inspection, and process engineering.

Some of your responsibilities will include

* Lead a manufacturing project team
* Be responsible for time lines and ensure all project milestones are achieved
* Manage any project risks that develop
* Capture project metrics
* Monitor the overall progress of the project

Background Experience

* Previous experience managing projects within an engineering environment (R&D, Manufacturing, Quality)
* Experience operating within a medical device environment would be highly beneficial but is not essential
* 3rd level education - Project Management certification would be beneficial such as PRINCE 2/PMP
