Ab Initio Developer, SAS Programmer, Scrum Master, Dashboard Developer - all contracts

At IRC's Data Analytics team, we are currently recruiting contractors for 1x AbInitio Developer, 1x agile Scrum Master, 1x Dashboard Developer (with R), 2 x SAS Developers and 2x Data Analytics/Business Analytics specialists for daily rate contract roles.

For 3 of these roles, either Ab initio ETL, DatawareHousing and/or Teradata expertise is essential.

Any financial services - banking, insurance, funds industry knowledge is advantageous.

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Contract rates: Market rates (per day) - Depending on role & expertise

Contract duration: 6 months, extendable

Experience Required for:

Ab Initio Developer

* 2+ years experience in Abinitio development

* Experience in MS SQL server & Oracle
* Unix and shell scripting (Solaris preferably)
* Fully competent in interpreting requirements and designing, unit testing and developing robust ETL solutions
* Excellent knowledge of ETL development methodologies & procedures
* Business analysis or Data Analysis experience

Scrum Master

* Experience of running Agile Projects and Programmes in the capacity of a Scrum Master
* Experience in core Agile Practices, test-driven development, User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, etc
* Proven work experience in Data Development, DW, ETL or Software development projects / programmes within an Agile environment - ideally Java-centric or Data-centric projects
* Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban or related
* Excellent Planning, communication, documentation and governance/compliance skills
* Software development skills
* Certified Scrum Master / ScrumMaster Certification ideally

SAS Developer

* Expert knowledge of / experience with SAS and other relevant programming software
* Working knowledge of database design/structures and basic statistics
* Any exposure to the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, clinical trials or Biosciences industry sectors ideally
* Good understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to statistical programming (e.g. GCP, ICH)

Dashboard Developer (R)

* Expertise in analytics and the design & development of complicated interactive dashboards

* Strong R Programming skills
* Any Data Science, Data Analytics and ideally Shiny experience is ideal but the focus of this role is on creating complex, interactive dashboards, rather than data management or reporting. Your experience should mirror this.
