This is a key role within the IT team. You'll be responsible for managing a wide range of my clients infrastructure including servers, communications hardware/software, SAN and monitoring.

You'll be working for a hugely successful local organisation who will give you the freedom to work on a wide variety of infrastructure technologies and to be the driving force behind technical innovation within this team. You'll need to have high attention to detail and be used to working in a fast paced role that also includes an on-call rota and some out of hours work on rare occasions for upgrades and maintenance.

You will be the escalation point for all infrastructure issues so will need to be an excellent troubleshooter who is confident communicating with more junior members of the team as well as explaining technical difficulties to senior management. It is a role that will give you more responsibility and really help to lift you to the next level in your career.

Desired Skills/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant discipline.
* Extensive windows server administration experience.
* Strong Virtualization skills (VMware/hyper-v)
* Strong networking skills (Routing/Switching/ LAN/WAN)
* Strong Firewall knowledge.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
