IT Business Analyst - Insurance - Life and Pensions - Daily Rate Contract

Key Responsibilities

* Work with business function heads and knowledge workers to analyse and document high-level requirements and capture business needs
* Document business requirements clearly and concisely
* Manage ongoing relationship with business users to drive satisfaction with IT
* Assist in maintaining relationships with vendors and monitor their performance against SLAs
* Enable the delivery of projects:

* Participate in design reviews and walk-throughs
* Communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions
* Co-ordination of

* Supplier / Vendor Relations
* Testing

* Setup and maintain risk registers related to various solutions

Qualifications and Experience

* Good knowledge of the (Irish) Financial Services Industry

* Life Assurance
* The Regulatory Environment

* Good understanding of information technology and business concepts and a broad IT knowledge and experience in three or more of the following areas IT areas:

* Solution Design and Development
* Enterprise Architecture,
* Quality Assurance,
* Infrastructure - including Cloud Computing,
* Maintenance and Support

* Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills in an IT environment
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in Life and Pensions
* Excellent Communication Skills - both verbal and written.
* 3rd level qualification in a related IT/Business field
* Good data query skills - e.g. using SQL, and Excel (Get & Transform ideally)
* Experience of MsAccess/.NET applications would be an advantage
* Experience of Oracle (E-Business or Fusion Cloud) would be an advantage

Term

This is a Daily Rate Contract - 6 Months Initially
