The individual will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and developing existing and new in-house projects using the latest technologies including Cloud and Big Data tools.

Our client is a leading financial services firm in Dublin 2. They are currently looking for a self-starting, creative and innovative full stack Data Warehouse and BI Developer. The individual will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and developing existing and new in-house projects using the latest technologies including Cloud and Big Data tools.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an open, dynamic environment and collaborate closely with business users at all levels and have a key role in developing the next generation of data systems and structures.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop data solutions using our existing tech stack which includes AWS Redshift, Python, SQL Server, including SSIS, SSAS & SSRS & Tableau.
• Support applications and tools through their lifecycle of requirements, development, testing, deployment, documentation, operation, user training, maintenance and enhancement
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to establish, refine and document functional requirements
The successful candidate will have:
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server database design/development experience
• SSRS knowledge ideal, SSAS (multidimensional and /or tabular).
• ETL skills
• Excellent analytic, communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid documentation skills.
• Experience with data modelling and star schema design is an advantage
• Experience with Big Data solutions is an advantage, particularly AWS Redshift
• Python experience is an advantage, as is working on Linux/Unix platform
• Tableau experience is an advantage
• Scripting and automation experience is a distinct advantage
