Our Client has a requirement for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer for a 6 Month Contract.
If you are available to start a position within 2 Weeks and you have the required experience we would be delighted to speak with you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Resolving day to day user issues (Profile, Email and Application).
* Setting up and managing user profiles using Active Directory and Exchange.
* Fixing any hardware issues with users PC's/Laptops.
* Updating anti-virus definitions and Windows updates.
* Providing training to new users.
* Additional projects as required such as preparing system and user documentation and testing.
Technical Requirements & Experience:
* 2 - 3 years practical experience in providing technical support to enterprise customers or software customers.
* Detailed knowledge of Microsoft (Windows Server 2003 -2012, Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory).
* Setup, operation and troubleshooting of TCP/IP networking.
* An excellent attitude and the ability to interact with people in a professional manner are required.
* Must possess good problem solving and analytical skills.
* Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use judgment in providing technical assistance.
Certifications Required:
* Minimum MCP required, an MCSA Advantageous.
