Responsibilities:
• Assist in the management and deployment of storage systems supporting MS SQL Server and Hyper-V estates systems in an enterprise environment
• Manage the configuration of storage hardware and software according to best practices
• Support the Database and Systems team members troubleshooting issues and providing guidance in performance tuning
• Configure SAN environments utilising Fibre technologies
• Create and maintain documentation for storage platforms
• Ensure maximum uptime of all storage arrays
Essential Qualifications:
• 3+ years proven experience configuring and managing EMC Storage
• Good understanding and knowledge of storage technologies and platforms
• Hands-on experience with SAN fabric zoning and management
• Excellent communications skills to clearly articulate complex technical issues to all levels of the organization (both technical and non-technical).
• Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation.
