PL/SQL Lead

Principle are working with a large high street retail company to recruit for an experienced PL/SQL Lead to join their team. The PL/SQL Lead will be responsible for the overall delivery and management of PL/SQL development projects. The day to day activities for the PL/SQL Lead will be the mentoring of developers and also participate in the overall development of both PL/SQL code and also Unix and shell scripts. It is a hands-on role.
Responsibilities:

* Analysing requirements and providing inputs to the Business Analyst
* Mentor developers as well as participate in the development of PL/SQL procedures, functions triggers and package
* Work closely and participate in the development of UNIX and shell scripts
* Work closely with both the UI and Middleware teams to build required interfaces
* Mentor developers
* Coordinate with all other stakeholders

Skills:

* Solid proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
* Proficiency in UNIX and Shell scripts
* Experience in Oracle10g/11g environment
* Hands on experience leading a team of PL/SQL developers
