Application Support Team Lead required for well-known Irish multinational based in Kilkenny. The successful Application Support Team Lead will provide day to day management of an Application Support team, while also acting as a technical escalation point for critical support issues.

Responsibilities:

•          Manage the support of SAP and other core line of Business Applications;
•          Management of Application Support team (Currently 5) – provide procedures guidance, technical issues, work priorities etc.
•          Determine work requirements & priorities of Application Support team;
•          Ensure faster closure of tickets through doing follow-ups with support groups and with users;
•          Mentoring and training of current and new members of SAP Support team;
•          Serve as an escalation point for critical support issues;

Requirements

•         Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Business or Engineering);
•          Minimum of 3 years Help Desk experience in leadership/supervisory capacity;
•          2-3 years SAP or other ERP experience;
•          Excellent verbal, written, communication skills.

Remuneration:

•          Starting salary of 50-60K
•          Performance bonus of 10%
•       5% pension contribution
