Application Support Team Lead required for well-known Irish multinational based in Kilkenny. The successful Application Support Team Lead will provide day to day management of an Application Support team, while also acting as a technical escalation point for critical support issues.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the support of SAP and other core line of Business Applications;
- Management of Application Support team (Currently 5) – provide procedures guidance, technical issues, work priorities etc.
- Determine work requirements & priorities of Application Support team;
- Ensure faster closure of tickets through doing follow-ups with support groups and with users;
- Mentoring and training of current and new members of SAP Support team;
- Serve as an escalation point for critical support issues;
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Business or Engineering);
- Minimum of 3 years Help Desk experience in leadership/supervisory capacity;
- 2-3 years SAP or other ERP experience;
- Excellent verbal, written, communication skills.
Remuneration:
- Starting salary of 50-60K
- Performance bonus of 10%
- 5% pension contribution
