About the role:
We are looking for a strong .Net Developer with 3+ years’ experience to join our growing development team. You will be confident in your abilities, and have a true desire to learn new technologies and create high-quality software in an agile development environment. You will have strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.NET MVC, etc.) and strong back-end development skills (C#, .NET, SQL Server, SQL, etc.). You will have opportunities to cross-train and specialise in new technologies that compliment your skill set. We are a very approachable and open team and are constantly looking for people that complement our existing skill set, who are not afraid to share their ideas and who want to be part of a dynamic team.
SKILLS
• Computer Science, Information Technology degree or equivalent work experience
• 3-5+ years commercial .Net experience
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET
• IIS
• LINQ, Entity Framework
• Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL
DESIRABLE SKILLS
• Experience working on public facing websites
• Database query optimisation, database schema optimisation, index maintenance
• NUnit or other unit testing frameworks
• Integration testing with Selenium
• SVN, Git or other source control system
• CruiseControl
• SQL Server Reporting Services
