IT Network Engineer - Limerick
My client is seeking to hire a Network Engineer with expertise in cisco to join their infrastructure team. You will have experience working in a fast-paced work place and have a previous datacentre exposure. You will be required to manage the installations and cabling within the data centre.
Key responsibilities of the Network Engineer:
* Manage the Cisco network within the infrastructure team
* Plan, Design and Implement LAN & WAN networks to include IP and VOIP
* Support and troubleshoot the network problems
* Installation of the network equipment in a Data Centre environment
* Administration of Storage solutions, VMWARE, and Operating Systems
* Understand information security policies and requirements
As a network engineer you will have:
* 5 years' experience working with cisco equipment
* Have experience with PCI
* Industry certification CCNA or CCNP
* Previous datacentre experience
* 3 years' experience working in a Linux environment
* Understanding of IT Security principles
* Dedicated team player that is willing to go beyond his regular working remit
