IT Security Engineer
My Dublin based client is currently seeking to hire an IT Security Engineer to join their expanding team. You will be joining an established team in Dublin city centre and working with the most up to date IT Security technology on the market.
You will be joining one of Dublin's most sought-after places to work and coming into an environment that encourages creativity and forward thinking.
As an IT Security Engineer you will be working in the security team but also will be required to work alongside a number of IT teams ensuring that the security best practices are followed.

What you will do as an IT Security Engineer:
* Complete IT Security reviews to a high standard
* You will be working on a number of IT Security programmes such as Logs, Security and Data Loss Protection.
* Perform IT risk assessments and then mitigate the issues using the appropriate controls.
* Act as a point of contact on IT Security issues for the organisation.
* Work as a team member and add your technical knowledge to ongoing IT Security projects.
What you need as an IT Security Engineer:
* A bachelors degree in a relevant field
* A preferred security certification such as CISSP, CISM, CSA+, SANS, CEH etc
* A minimum of 4 years experience working in IT Security or a similar role
* Previous experience in IT Security risk assessments
* Knowledge of both windows and linux operating systems
* Knowledge and experience in IT Security compliance (ISO 27001 & PCI-DSS)
* Any knowledge in cloud based solutions is also desirable.
