My client seeks a talented C# .Net Software Developer to join their Dublin based development team.
The Role: C# .Net Software Developer
My client is undergoing a period of rapid growth, they have doubled in size and numbers over the past 12 months and are due to double again over the next 12. The company and product has reached international waters and is only ever expanding further afield with it reaching a new country every couple of months. The company is unique in the culture is very open and free, they are looking for talented and creative people to come on board and bring their own ideas and suggestions with them. My client needs someone who is a good communicator to come on board. The role is that of C# .Net Software Developer but it requires someone who also has good XML skills. My client's software was built on a framework that required XML and while they are in the middle of moving away from this initially they need someone who is good with and happy to work with XML for the first few months anyway. My client is keen on people who like to upskill and is very supportive of this, the training they provide for both on and off the job is second to none and once the probation period is over they will open so many doors for you in terms of up skilling and personal growth.
Responsibilities
As a C# .Net Software Developer you will be responsible for planning, documentation, design, coding and testing of new features and products and maintenance of existing features.
You Need:
* Strong C# skills
* Experience working with XML, ASP.NET and AJAX
* Experience with JavaScript, SQL, T-SQL (relational databases and querying them)
* Commercial experience with Web Services in particular WCF
* Experience with N-tier web-based applications
* Good documentational skills - you need to be able to prepare technical documentation and know what you need and when
* Strong communication skills - you need to be able to explain what you are doing and why you are doing it
* Good team work skills - you need to contribute to different aspects of the development team such as the planning of projects
* Creativity - you need to come on board with your own ideas about features products and technologies
* Commitment - you need to commit to this company and growing with the company at this exciting: time for them
* Some experience in testing is needed
* Good planning skills and organisation skills
