TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our client, is seeking applications for an IT System Manager.

Specific Responsibilities and Skills

 This position will be a hands-on role in the Information Technology group responsible for implementation oversight, solution design and system management of Oracle Agile Product Life Management 9.3.4 (PLM) including Agile Product Collaboration and integration with all other related systems. Work closely with Agile implementation team that consists of external consultants, internal business teams from Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations and internal IT team to understand the requirements and participate/contribute in requirement gathering workshops and solution design sessions


    Essential Duties and Job Functions


  • Work with business users and business analysts to map business requirements into functional and technical solutions with the Agile PLM ecosystem.Serve as an internal subject matter expert (SME) for all Agile PLM system modules providing feasibility analysis, solution design, new functionality implementation.Own the Agile PLM system in terms of system configuration, solution and development. Cross training of internal IT team on Agile features, functionality and integrations.
  • Coordination between business users and development teams to work towards an efficient solution based on acceptable trade-offs
    As the lead technical SME for the Agile PLM solutions, work with internal and external technical team and DBA team on all technical solutions

  •  Lead the technical design and development of the integration between Agile and Oracle EBS using Oracle Agile Process Extensions and Web Services Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA) Process Integration Pack (PIP) or a custom integration

  •  Be responsible for identifying and collaborating with Information Management Group in the design of reports and analytics for Agile PLM using OOTB Oracle Agile and Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics

  •  Work with Regulatory, Quality and , Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations business teams to gather requirements for ongoing future enhancements related to Agile PLM and integrations and work with IT team to design and implement solutions to handle those requirements

  •  Lead unit and system testing for all Agile related components and coordinate and participate in user workshops, UAT and user training

  • Coordinate with external consultants and Oracle support to troubleshoot and resolve any system related issues

  • Coordinate development of Process Extensions and migration of data into Agile PLM using standard and custom tools.

  • System Manager role for Agile PLM application for approvals of design, tech deployment and transition to support

  • Build effective relationships between business partners and the IT organization; leveraging the “Vertical / Horizontal” structure adopted by Gilead IT

  • Ensure that Agile PLM projects are delivered in line with all of Gilead’s Quality, Security and Compliance rules and policies.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or equivalent

     10+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise applications using systems development lifecycle (SDLC) processes in an GxP environment

  •  8+ years of experience in the design, configuration, development and implementation of a PLM type system. Experience in configuration of product attributes, defining privileges/roles, user groups and workflows.

  •  Experience with Agile Product Collaboration will be a plus

  •  Experience in Oracle EBS R12, mainly in Inventory and OPM modules is a plus.

 Overall understanding of IT service management and IT project lifecycle
