itContracting are pleased to be partnering with our Dublin based client in the hiring of QA Leads for their Software Development centre.
You will be responsible for leading the QA process, ensuring approved code meets the highest quality standards and processes, and ensuring the delivery of code into Production.
The QA Lead will work closely with onshore and offshore development teams and have responsibility for the build of comprehensive, rigorous, repeatable tests to confirm that software is delivered to the highest possible standards. You will be an advocate of automation and will work with Automation and DevOps team to continually improve Continuous Integration and Deployment processes.
Ideally you will be degree educated in a Computer Science discipline or similar and have at least 3-5 years in a QA role in a software development capacity. You will have a strong understanding of Agile development processes.
In particular you will:
* Work closely with all levels of the business to understand business needs and product strategy
* Own and Develop Test documentation
* Design and document test strategy and guide offshore testers
* Oversee automation test case creation
* Coordinate the creating of test environments with Automation and DevOps teams
* Oversee the UAT process
* Provide signoff for project Production deployment
