We have a fantastic contracting opportunity available with a leading software company in Dublin. They have a requirement for a Senior Java Developer to join their product development team who have just had approval for a sizeable new application.
The role is with a highly innovative, award winning business who have a mid-sized operation with easy access from many transport links. It's a professional environment where collaboration with other developers is highly encouraged, the environment is structured but without micro-management and there is a degree of flexibility in the working conditions.
I have placed contractors with this business in the past and the feedback we have received as a place to work is great.

We are seeking a Java developer with the following skills / experience

* 5+ years Java development experience
* Very comfortable developing large scale, performance critical applications
* Solid experience across JEE - Spring, Hibernate, EJB, JPA etc.
* Solid grasp of developing and consuming REST APIs
* Exposure to front end development would be nice - JavaScript, HTML etc.
* Ideally experience working in an Agile environment
* Exposure to CI and TDD desired
* Able to adapt to a number of different app servers.
