Technology Consultant – Manufacturing – Ireland (various locations)

My client, headquartered in Munster is a leading supplier of technology solutions to the manufacturing industry (Pharmaceutical, food, chemical etc) and have a history of integrating complex systems to allow the smooth running of large numbers of concurrent manufacturing processes in these sectors.

To maintain pace with growth in their offering and client base, we have been asked to engage with a Technology Consultant who has worked onsite with customers to implement and maintain software processes, specifically utilising SCADA and specific architectures.

Due to the nature of the business and distributed customer locations, this role (after a training period) will be based onsite for long term assignments across Ireland (with some possible international travel from time to time). There is significant scope for global travel and promotion if this is of interest as this firm has a large international footprint.

To be considered for the role candidates must have;

· Very strong customer relations experience and skills

· A strong (6+ years) background in working with SCADA based systems including integration planning, training of customer staff and mentoring colleagues

· Education in engineering/manufacturing will be advantageous
Technologies (including SCADA) such as general API knowledge to unify systems, Windows Operating Systems integration, networking and security (plus SQL Database knowledge)

· Native level of written and spoken English

· Full clean driving license
