Cyber Security Engineer - Dublin/Galway

My client, a worldwide financial service provider is currently seeking to hire an enthusiastic individual to join their cyber security team as a Cyber Security Engineer.

The company is in a significant period of growth and are offering this fantastic opportunity for you to work in a highly technical security environment. You will be working with the latest technologies and liaising with a number of leads including the CISO, Architecture, Compliance and Development Teams.

You will be the lead on all aspects of compliance (PCI) which will include the networks, applications, firewalls, audit and azure cloud services.

Main responsibilities of the Cyber Security Engineer:

* Conduct audits alongside the compliance (PCI) team
* Explore and communicate the changes within the IT controls with all departments
* Assist with becoming PCI certified
* Documentation of all findings within the security sector

Key Attributes of the Cyber Security Engineer:

* Understanding of security models, encryption and access controls
* Design and implementation of SIEM
* Understanding of cloud technologies particularly Azure
* Strong background in network topology
* Knowledge of PCI requirements
* Technical expertise of network routing firewalls, IPS/IDS, databases (SQL) and virtualization
* Knowledge of both Windows & Linux
