Data Scientist - Kerry

They required a confident data scientist to come into their analytical team and really own the role and make it their own. They are providing a unique level of freedom where the successful candidate will get the opportunity to work with rich data and to set the direction of their work. They are looking for someone to come in with new ideas to implement and to be creative within the analytical team. The focus on the work will be on natural language processing, machine learning and predictive modelling for both product and customer analytics. My client is flexible when it comes to technical ability, they are willing to train and up skill the successful candidate according to what they need, they are very supporting of personal development. If successful, you will get to be a part of a small analytical team of 6, in a small but stable growing company.

Requirements

* A PhD and minimum 2 years' experience OR a MSc and minimum 4 years' experience
* Experience with python/R/Scala/Java/SQL or similar
* Experience with tableau or Apache spark or similar
* Experience handling big data sets
* Experience with natural language processing
* Experience with machine learning
* Confident in own ability
* Ability to work under minimal supervision and guidance
* Experience working as part of a small team beneficial

Benefits: Salary - 50-60k and a benefits package
