My client are a leading Cork multinational company and are looking to hire a Scrum Master / Agile Coach who will be a leader to several software development teams responsible for the development of rich client software tools & apps. The development team technology stack includes Java, Eclipse (RCP, EMF, GEF, e4), Javascript, Typescript, GWT.
Criteria: - BSc in a related field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 10 years' professional experience in software engineering environment
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) Certification
- 5 years' professional experience as a dedicated Agile Coach/Scrum Master in software engineering environment
Essential: - Subject matter expert on Agile and Lean principles
- Extensive knowledge of Product Development Lifecycle, Product Development Flow and Lean Product Development
- Experience as Scrum Master for multiple Scrum Teams simultaneously
- Use of scaling frameworks such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), LeSS, Nexus or others
- Experience driving change to remove impediments from teams
- Supporting and coaching Product Owners, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlogs
- Coaching new development teams while they transition to Scrum and as they apply best practices through continuous improvement
- Knowledge of Agile engineering practices like Test Automation, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), DevOps, etc
- Value continuous learning and improving
- Excellent communication, facilitation, time management and organization skills
Advantage: - Experience collaborating with other Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters across the enterprise to lead continuous improvement opportunities with Agile adoption and transformations
- Proven ability to identify organizational impediments to successful Agile transformation and work with the leadership team to create effective strategies to overcome them.c
