An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Software Development Engineer to take up a permanent position in Dublin with an award-winning company.

The successful candidate will be developing design patterns using REST, SOA, SaaS and web applications as well as debugging and tuning web services. On a daily basis, the candidate will be presenting to project managers to communicate the status of projects and issues affecting the software.

Our client is a growing company with offices in Ireland, UK and the US. The company work closely with fleet owners to provide a reliable and accurate service to approximately 40,000 customers.

To be considered you must possess:

• Degree in computer science or a related discipline
• 5 years + working in software design
• Commercial experience of C#
• Experience of frameworks such as WCF, SOAP, MVC & WEB API
• Demonstrated experience with .NET framework (4.0+)
• Experience of advanced .NET framework LINQ, Remoting & Reflection
• Experience in distributed systems such as REST, SOA and SaaS is essential
• Performance tuning of code is preferred
• Advanced use with an Agile development
• Experience of working with MongoDB & RabbitMQ
• Working experience of writing unit tests and carrying out load testing
• Knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, HTML & CSS
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take on new information and gain new skills
• Must have excellent written and verbal English skills
• Cooperate with other developers within the team
