Working Directly with Head of Design
The role:
An exciting role has opened up within this established company in Limerick. Fantastic range of global clients and a strong sense of independence and creativity is encouraged. You will join their Design Department and help spearhead the creation of exciting and effective websites for their clients.
You will report directly to the Head of Design and work on a variety of tasks with the Design Team.
• Design web sites that incorporate innovative solutions while maintaining best practices.
• Make recommendations for visual improvements to existing websites.
• Use client briefs, branding and assets to create high quality, creative, polished responsive website designs with strong attention to detail.
• Manage the visual styling and building of various page types within the CMS.
• Knowledge of UX for mobile, tablet and desktop web applications
• Work independently to achieve team goals and reach target timelines.
• Report regularly to the Head of Design and Project Coordinator on the status of active projects.
• Conduct testing of all websites on multiple browsers and devices.
• Lend design support and assistance where needed to other departments.
Experience required:
• 3-5 Years minimum experience in Web Design
• Exceptional visual and creative design skills.
• Must have meticulous attention to detail, be high achieving and passionate.
• A creative mind with a flair for creating visually appealing website designs.
• A strong portfolio of creative visual designs with a focus on websites.
• Ability to write clean, SEO friendly HTML and CSS with a good working knowledge of web-standards.
• Experience in use of a content management system.
• Excellent design application skills, especially with Adobe CS applications.
• Comfortable working in a busy design environment.
• Enthusiastic and structured approach to workloads with good problem solving abilities.
• Bring inspiration to the team by encouraging innovative and creativity.
Qualifications:
• 3rd level qualification in graphic/web related area.
