Data Scientist (Ireland - Various Locations)

The role: The open positions are for strong data scientists looking to step up and take the lead on the analytical side of things within the company. Based at various locations (multiple roles available at different locations) the team you will be placed in will be looking at you for guidance and support as together you help my client remain at the top of their game and increase their popularity over their competitors. The role has a big focus on machine learning and so previous experience working with machine learning and the draw up and execution of algorithms is appreciated. Analysing data and looking and finding insights is a major part of the role, an even larger part is then taking these insights and modelling/presenting them in an easy to understand manner to less technically minded stakeholders. Providing advice and support on these findings and how to implement change from them to add value to the business is an essential part of the role and previous experience doing such duties is required. These are just some aspects to the position, reporting, consulting, some coding and scripting is also required.
Essential
* Good experience with python, R, SQL, SAS or similar
* Good experience with tableau, apache spark, qlikview or similar
* Previous experience with machine learning
* Previous experience working in an agile environment
* Previous experience taking the lead in teams and/or groups
* Experience in a consulting/teaching position desired but not essential
* 3rd level degree
* At least 3 years' experience in a relatable role

* Salary: 60-70k dependent on experience
