Principal Java/JavaScript Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced engineer to lead the development of new features as part of roadmap of their very successful product line. In particular, new methods of visualising complex data sets means that considerable new development will be required to the entire user interface and experience.

Requirements:

• You must be eligible to live and work in the EU on application
• Proven expertise in server-side Java and client-side JavaScript with HTML/CSS (preferably HTML5/CSS3)
• Experience with as many of the following as possible: Web Services, REST, JSON, XML, WSDL, etc.
• AJAX experience
• Experience with AngularJS, jQuery, LESS or other similar frameworks is desirable
• Large Data or Numerical visualisation experience is advantageous
• Experience with Play framework is an advantage
• Degree in Comp Sci or Comp Eng.
