The Company

A R&D centre in the heart of Dublin city centre. They are focusing on the fintech and banking challenges of the future…working with a range of clients at corporate level tackling big data, digital banking, digital payments, digital money, fraud etc.

The Role

Successful candidate will become part of a globally distributed team which supports the engineering deliverables between Clients’ internal systems.

As a DevOps Engineer you will be assisting in planning, scripting and executing for assigned testing for emerging storage as well as operating systems technologies.

Your main task will be to design, program and execute test automation, ensuring correct operation of Cloud technologies.

Also, key task to perform regression, integration, fault injection testing activities across systems and platforms for process and operational improvements.

• DevOps and Automation and Configuration Management (CHEF).
• Version Control Systems
• Automation/Build Tools
• Testing tools
• Linux/Unix, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• BASH, Python, Perl, PHP
• Anaconda and Kickstart
• YUM concepts and repo configuration
• Networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewall, routing, protocols)
• Experience developing product documentation
• RHCE would be a plus
• VMware or KVM
• IaaS and/or PaaS
