My client Ireland’s leading independent bookmakers with its headquarters based in Dundalk. They are currently on the lookout for a solid project manager to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Main responsibilities:
• To work with Third Party vendors, Technology teams and Business Stakeholders in determining scope of work for projects and establishing project plans
• To manage the project plan delivery by ensuring that the milestones are being met
• Ensure that all issues are addressed in terms of resolution
• Ensure that go-live for projects is effected taking into consideration factors such as data migration, reporting services, end-user training etc.
• Work with the IT department to ensure adequate infrastructure and support is available for project delivery
• Manage any third party vendor in liaison with our legal, technology and business teams ensuring that all contractual and SLA obligations are adhered to
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Keep all parties involved in a project abreast of status
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
• Complies with and helps to enforce standard Company policies and procedure
• Additional hours may be required in meet project deadlines.
• Provide Production support or 24x7 on-call support when required.
• Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
