My client is investing heavily in improving their Dev Ops, Build engineering & tools development team to progress the organisation towards genuine excellence in their software engineering practices & in developing quality software products and is seeking a Senior (or Lead) DevOps Engineer and also a Dev Ops Engineer.

Working in an Agile .NET development environment, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of tools & technologies, including open source tools, TFS, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Selenium and C#.

For the Senior DevOps Engineer role, you will be tasked with:

* Playing a key role in improving and evangelising the adoption of DevOps tools & practices
* Assisting in the further development of continuous development / continuous integration environment
* Working with software architects & other stakeholders, contributing to the product roadmap & deciding on the tools & frameworks to keep up-to-date with DevOps practices & tools
* For the lead role, you will also be expected to mentor less experienced DevOps engineers

Please note that this role will Not be heavily involved in the more operations side - ie. the daily builds or troubleshooting/supporting build issue backlogs, etc. The main focus of this role will be on evolving the DevOps practices & tools and the adoption of real DevOps improvements to the overall Agile environment.

For the less experienced Dev Ops Engineer role, you will work with the development teams improving the build pipeline, continuous integration and deployment.

You will help automate and streamline operations and processes; build and maintain tools for deployment, troubleshooting and resolve issues in the development, test and production environments.

Experience Required

To be considered suitable, you must have the following:

* Excellent experience in DevOps within a .NET Development environment, SCM (Software Configuration Management) & Continuous Development environments
* A real passion for Dev Ops & experience in introducing DevOps processes, practices & suitable tools
* Proven commercial experience of using Dev Ops tools eg. Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Git, TFS and C#
* Software Development background in C# & .NET
* Be a proponent of Agile, Scrum environments and understand the full SDLC

Salary: €50-75K + benefits (Dependent on expertise level for each of the 2 roles)
