I am currently working with a client who are looking to hire an I.T Business Analyst on a permanent basis based in Galway.
My client is in the Financial Services sector who offer specialist advice in tax refunds, payments, credit card processing and point of sale technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Provide detailed analysis of payments processing and change required
• Reviews and edits requirement, specifications, business processes and recommends solutions
• Drive the IT team in their effort to execute their plans
• Work with development team and subject matter experts on analysis assignments and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs
• Deliver quality documentation on IT payment solutions and investigations
• Develop an extensive knowledge of current and emerging Payment industry practices and use this knowledge when proposing solutions
• Provide guidance on Testing requirements to Developers and QA teams
• Work with Architecture and Network Services to ensure coverage of complete IT requirements

Experience and Skills:
• Third level Business, IT or Finance Degree
• 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis experience in Financial Organisations
• Thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
• Strong process design skills
• Strong stakeholder skills
• Project Management experience
