IT Security Consultant
My client, an IT Services provider are currently seeking to hire an experienced IT Security Consultant to further develop their security needs. You will be based just West of Dublin, working in a highly technical environment and dealing with some very high-profile clients.
Your primary focus will be to maintain and improve the business IT Security standards, management of the information security strategies and policies that will help protect each customers information and data.
An exciting opportunity for you to join at an exciting point of expansion. The role will give you a lot of freedom and allow you to make your stamp on the companies Information Security.
What you will be doing:
* General consultancy services such as risk assessments, security policy setting, security audits.
* Provide expert guidance and procedures on how to implement IT security throughout the organisation.
* Conduct and resolve all issues related to IT security incidents and threats
* Develop security designs and liaise with other security members to assist with implementation
* Reviewing and introducing emerging IT network and security technologies
What you will need:
* 6+ years' experience within IT security
* A university degree in computer science/forensics or similar
* A relevant professional certification such as CEH, CISSP, ISO certified
* Previous experience designing highly technical solutions for customers
* Experience with IT security risks and vulnerabilities
* Knowledge and understanding of security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanning, pen testing etc
* Previous experience within IT security infrastructure (firewalls, IPS/IDS, DLP0
* IT security auditing experience
