Cyber Security Analyst- Dublin

My client, one of the world leaders in innovation, are currently seeking the skills of a senior Security Analyst t to join their team. It would be easier to say what they don't do in terms of information security, but this opportunity will allow you the chance to explore some of the latest cutting edge technologies and work with some of the sharpest information security professionals in Ireland.
As the Security Analyst you'll work closely with the development and support teams to make sure security best practices are followed. You will be adding to the security infrastructure carrying out security maintenance and patching. A lot of initiative is required in a position where you'll be able to have a huge impact.
What you will do:
* Investigate all activity and collate data, generate reports and act appropriately utilising the security teams
* Analysing both current and new security trends to establish its effectiveness and how it can be introduced for the clients benefits
* Analyzing threats
* Report writing for all both security teams and clients
* Act as a lead on security threat based projects
Expertise you will bring:
* Strong understanding of security frameworks
* Strong analytical skills (data collection, investigating, interpretation of findings)
* Producing both technical and non technical reports that can be interpreted by all
* Strong knowledge of compliance with vulnerability & risk assessments
* Knowledge of IT technologies
* Experience with scripting, integration or automation (Powershell, BASH, SOAP, Python)
* Understanding of access control, authorization, encryption, business continuity, disaster recovery, networking
* Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA
