This position will give a talented Linux and AWS engineer to join an established company within the telecommunications sector. You'll be working to develop new projects and implement new solutions as well as supporting current systems . The role will mix between UNIX systems administration and AWS engineering .
You'll need to be used to working in a fast paced environment, be a committed team player and be confident to be trusted with mission critical projects and working in part in a customer facing environment.
You'll need to have 5+ years experience in building and supporting front line Linux/Unix environments and ideally working within an AWS environment. Extensive knowledge around virtualisation, disaster recovery and networking is also required.
Desired Skills/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant discipline.
* Excellent working knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
* Strong AWS Experience.
* Excellent infrastructure skills with networking/storage/disaster recovery.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
* Strong VMware experience.
* Experience with VoIP implementation and support, specifically configuration of SIP End points and troubleshooting SIP telephony challenges.
