We are currently looking for experienced Java-J2EE developers to join our high energy R&D department. We want self-starters and team players, who can innovate, problem solve and think creatively and who are looking to advance their programming knowledge and careers to reach their full potential.

THE ROLE
 Create design and functional specifications
 Design and implement complex modules with minimal supervision
 Progress component design through development, testing, documentation and delivery
 Review design, functional specifications and code developed by other team members
 Create and review test plans and test tools
 Participate in continuous process improvements
 Install and deliver developed applications to customer sites

THE SKILLS NEEDED
You will have a relevant degree, a minimum of 5 years industry experience using Java and a strong background in the following areas:
 Virtualization, Cloud-based Applications, Amazon AWS, VM-ware, EC-2
 Strong Java and OO skills
 Agile development methods including SCRUMs and SPRINTs
 Standard OO design patterns
 ORM frameworks such as Hibernate
 RDBMS encompassing schema design
 PL/SQL having used: MySQL, Oracle, PostGreSQL
 Spring Core Framework including Spring web flow, Spring MVC
 Maven and continuous integration tools such as Hudson
 Full software development lifecycles
 Software quality processes
 Development on Linux/Unix platform
 Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work as part of a team
