Our very well-known leading high-tech multinational client's Professional Services Software Development team design and build a suite of applications to support their Professional Services organisation. They are currently working on their new flagship web application platform.

This platform implements a microservice architect, with primarily AngularJS single page applications on the front end and Java/Spring Boot microservices on the back end.

Due to increased demand for new features and functionality we are looking for additional contract developers to join an existing, well established, team that is responsible for this new platform. (please note that there may be an option to transfer to a permanent position after a period of time)

The successful candidate will be expected to join the team in a hands-on role.

They will be expected to use modern development methodologies, specifically test driven development and continuous delivery.

The candidate should be comfortable with developing Spring based Java applications.

This group follows an agile development process.

They have extensive test automation and very high levels of test coverage of their code.

They do continuous delivery, often multiple releases per day and have a supportive, learning environment in place.

A successful candidate will be expected to embrace and relish this culture.
