They are currently looking to Hire an Environment Manager ( Test & Development)
Environment Manager
The successful candidate will manage and own all Test and development environments, in line with standard SDLC processes. The person will Ensure environments are available in a timely fashion for all projects and programs in a fast-moving and high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities.
Own and coordinate test environment configuration, deployment and test activities required to provide stable test platforms.
•Define and run the management process for all Company test and development environments
•Lead and coordinate best in class environment delivery model
•Plan and own current and future testing demand across environments in conjunction with Delivery, Release and Test Managers
•Plan and communicate hardware requirements to Infrastructure Management.
•Optimise run costs for all test and development environments
Requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
•Formal training in project management practices preferred
•ITIL Qualified
•7 years+ of previous environment management experience
•Seasoned professional with a solid background in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
•Solid Understanding of project management principles
•Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
•Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
•Worked with multiple systems and platforms (including Windows, Solaris, AIX, RedHat, VMWare, Oracle, SQL Server) at both an operational, environment planning and system architect level.
