Network Engineer - Cork

Job Description

My client is currently looking to add an experienced Network Engineer to their team in Cork. Your main responsibilities will include the daily administration of LAN/WAN and wireless networks, constant review, design and implement networks, perform relevant tasks associated with network security including, backups and disaster recovery.

What you will need:

* CCNP or a Juniper relevant professional certification.
* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5 years minimum industry work experience.
* Strong understanding of design and implementation of networks.
* Knowledge of STP, routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS protocols and internet protocols.
* Experience in network infrastructure security protocols.
* Hardware troubleshooting and testing tool knowledge.
* Ability to work on your own and also as part of a team.

Set yourself apart with:

* A Juniper background in routing, switching or security.
* Experience in virtualisation
* Cloud Technologies
