Front-end Web Developer
Role Overview
Based in Dublin, you will be responsible for front-end development across my client's e-commerce applications & website. You will have an influential role in planning, design, prototyping, development, testing and maintenance. You’ll work closely with the IT Application Development and Digital Marketing teams to enhance online presence and offer the best experience to customers and visitors to the website. They have a great development team and are always looking to find new and better ways to build great software.
We are looking for someone who has:
• A professional qualification from a recognised University or Technical College
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, JavaScript libraries, CSS and HTML.
• Experience of modern web frameworks, AngularJS (preferred).
• A solid understanding of tools and techniques to support integration of PPC/Remarketing, SEO and Analytics.
• An ability to bring new ideas to the table, a passion for all things web.
• Good communication skills to ensure design and integration requirements are well specified.
• Skilled in mobile first and responsive design.
Desirable experience
• Experience working in an Agile team, using Scrum Methodology.
• Familiarity with analytics and site metrics tools such as Google Analytics and/or Omniture
• Integration of 3rd Party utilities such as chat, personalisation, website feedback tools etc. to enhance the end-user experience.
• Familiarity with common cross-browser compatibility challenges
• Automated testing frameworks such as Jasmine, QUnit etc.

• You have a solid to attention to detail and great communication skills.
• You like results and takes ownership for tasks and overcomes obstacles
• Great problem solving skills and the ability to think creatively is key.
• Self-motivated, organised and customer focused.
• You value collaboration.
