The emphasis of the role will be the consistent delivery of quality services to meet agreed SLAs as a minimum and continuously aiming to exceed end user and Customer expectations. The role will be seen as a driver for quality and high performance throughout my client's IT function and their wider businesses.

The right candidate will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable communicating with multiple vendors as well as members of the senior management team. The role will focus on multiple aspects including IT Infrastructure, Helpdesk/end-user support, business continuity, disaster recover and SLA agreement management.

You will have 2 direct reports as well as the management of any third party contractors who may join the team for short periods and report into the Service Delivery Manager.

Desired Skills/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science/business management or other relevant discipline.
* A strong technical background ideally in IT Infrastructure management.
* Strong networking, infrastructure design and web services development experience.
* Extensive service level management experience.
* Previous experience of managing a team of 5-10 people.
* Excellent vendor management experience.
* Excellent reporting skills, able to provide consistent weekly and monthly updates to senior management and vendor partners.
* Strong presentation skills.
