About the role:

We are hiring a BAT Tester for our customer based in Dublin on an initial 5 month contract.

Experience Required:

• Experience with a large amount of Test Data

• Experience with QC or equivalent

• Ability to manage Test Data with other members of the team

• Ability to track defects and test progress and report on them to manage

• Experience with executing Test Cases according to the Schedule

• Experience Scripting Test Cases prior to each Execution Phase

• Experience Preparing Test Data prior to each Execution Phase

• Experience logging -in defects / issues

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Telecoms sector

• Provisioning flows etc. Mobile & Fixed

• Experience with CRM

• Experience with communicating with offshore teams

Responsibilities:

• Review BAT Test Scenarios and build Test Steps for each scenario
• Ensure that each BAT test scenario has required Test Data prepared prior to test execution
• Escalate any major functionality gaps to the Acceptance Test Manager
• Acquire detailed knowledge Product to enable efficient and quick support for business testers
• Liaise with Business Units to review/walkthrough BAT Test Steps and data requirements
• Assisting business testers with execution of BAT Test Scenarios
• Logging and Managing defects in Quality Centre
• Troubleshooting of BAT Defects / Issues
• Test Cases scripted efficiently prior to each BAT Execution Phase
• All test data prepared prior to each BAT Execution Phase
• All defects/issues logged and followed up in a timely and efficient manner
• All daily planned Test Cases executed according to the BAT Schedule
• Professional and clear communication when liaising with the business streams
