Our client are a well-known financial services company in Dublin 2, and are currently seeking an energetic, competent individual for a hand’s on IT support role in a busy IT Department.

This role is initially offered as a 12 month Fixed Term contract but there is potential that it will become permanent after the initial contract period.

The successful candidate will get involved in all aspects of the support system, from dealing with first line phone support of all the main applications, to assisting in a number projects currently underway.

Main responsibilities:

• Application support
• Problem determination and resolution
• Documentation review and update
• Dealing with third party suppliers
• Testing

Key Skills:

• Familiar with Microsoft Office Products,
• Exposure to web development & troubleshooting.
• Exposure to Microsoft Server & Applications an advantage, but not necessary.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux an advantage, but not necessary.
