Security Analyst - South Dublin
My client is a large financial institution and are currently seeking to hire an experienced individual to join their team as a Senior Security Analyst. Reporting into and working closely with the CISO you will be primarily responsible for the delivery of security needs to each client and ensuring security best practices are followed.
This is a fantastic opportunity to establish yourself in a large multinational and gain valuable experience working with some very high profile financial clients. A technical role that will require someone that the ability and business acumen to lead and deal with key clients.
Key Responsibilities of Security Analyst:
* Vulnerability & Risk management
· Develop and assist on IT security policies and standards
· Preparing and assisting in both internal and external audit
· Enhance the company's security which will include training, assessing new technologies & documentation
· Implement new security tools and services to be used throughout the organisation
· Maintain an up to date knowledge of new cyber security trends and threats
What you need:
* A preferred security certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH etc
* A relevant degree within computer sciences or industry equivalent experience
* Experience in risk analysis, vulnerability management and vulnerability analysis
* Strong understanding of system security and protocols
* Knowledge and experience of one if not all areas of application, network and system security
* Scripting knowledge is a distinct advantage (Python, Bash, Shell)
* TCP/IP, Routing protocols, HTTP, IPSEC, Incident Response, etc
